Current Masjid
The Mosque was built in 1960 and is the second oldest continually used Mosque in Australia. Since its inception a series of enhancements have been made including small extensions, renovations, outdoor play areas and shade structures. The Mosque now requires a major renovation and extension to fulfil the needs of the local Muslim community for the coming decades.
Future Masjid
The proposed extension and renovation will increase the capacity, provide additional spaces for classrooms, community areas and provide a modern and energy efficient space for worshipers. In addition, the site will have additional parking to spaces to reduce the need for on street parking.
